2026 Municipal Election
The Election is Monday, October 26, 2026
Voting in the 2026 Municipal Election takes place from October 19-26, 2026. The Township of Drummond/North Elmsley voters will be voting using internet and telephone only. Voting can be done at any time during the voting period.
In order to receive voting information and to be able to vote you must be on the Voter’s List. Since there are eligibility requirements to be able to vote, the Township cannot add someone to the list without them declaring that they meet those requirements. Which are:
You are entitled to vote in the Municipal Election if on Voting Day you,

reside in the local municipality, or is the owner or tenant of land in the local municipality, or the spouse of such owner or tenant;

area Canadian citizen;

areat least 18 years old; and
-
are not prohibited from voting under subsection 17(3) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 or otherwise, by law.
If you are eligible to vote in the 2026 Municipal Election, please fill out, sign and bring the Application to Amend Voter's List (EL15) form with acceptable ID showing identity and residence to the Municipal Office. One form for every eligible voter must be submitted.
